Catherine Washburn Memorial Association
NOTICE: The annual meeting of the Catherine Washburn Memorial Association (CWMA) will be held Saturday May 21, 2011 at 10 AM at the Lopez Library meeting room. |
The Catherine Washburn Memorial Association (CWMA) was formed in 1971 in memory of Catherine Washburn, a Lopez resident. The CWMA began by raising funds for the original clinic building, which was completed in 1974, and has continued to provide financial support for operations, several expansions, and much needed state-of-the-art equipment.
CWMA is the silent partner behind the clinic - many people see the result without understanding the relationship between CWMA and the clinic.
This website is funded by CWMA and is intended to bring a greater awareness of the role played by CWMA as well as serve the clinic itself by providing basic information about the staff and services available..
For a history of CWMA and the clinic, read Clinic Turns 30 - Looking Back, Looking Ahead - Health Matters Newsletter, Summer 2004 (Read Full article) or visit the History page.
